Video Library
Members of the Pacific Safety Council may borrow video cassette tapes from the video library free of charge. Safety videos are an effective tool for training employees in hazard identification, engineering control and job safety so that they may anticipate and manage hazards, not just count and investigate accidents after the fact.

To request a maximum of three tapes, please contact us with the tape titles and numbers. Generally, tapes may be borrowed for a two week period. If a requested tape is not immediately available, you will be notified. If available, the tape(s) will be mailed to you within five business days. Video Rental Policies
General Video Service
The audio-visual programs in our Video Library are free to members, except for postage expenses, if applicable. A maximum of 3 videos may be checked out at a time. Videos may be checked out for a maximum of 14 days without any fees incurred. Members are responsible for paying shipping and handling, late fees, and any other fees associated with lost or damaged videos.
Shipping and Returning Materials
All videos will be shipped/returned via a traceable delivery service that will provide full insurance for the value of the video(s), or they may be picked up/dropped off at our office. Each video must be insured for $300 each or the member assumes responsibility for the full replacement cost of lost or damaged videos. Members assume full responsibility for all videos shipped to or picked up from the Council.
Shipping/Handling Rates
- 1 Video = $7.25 + tax
- 2 Videos = $7.75 + tax
- 3 Videos = $8.25 + tax
Lost/Damaged Videos
Members are liable for lost/damaged videos. Repair to videos will be charged at the rate of $60 per hour with a one hour minimum. Members will be held responsible for the full replacement cost of the videos, in the event of its loss or severe damage.
Late Fee Reminder
The videos that you have checked out will be considered late if they are not received in our office by 5pm on the due date listed above. If you need more time to view the videos, please call us before the due date to request an extension. Thank You!
Late fees will continue to accrue daily until the video(s) is/are returned (up to the maximum charge of twice the full replacement cost).
- $15 per video for the first late day (i.e., 3 late videos would cost $45)
- $3 per video for each day thereafter
Continuous failure to return videos on time may result in the revocation of member’s video services.
